Stuart started the SOCR project (hence the “S” 
. He’s responsible for most of the problems and looks after SOCR.org.
Reggie is an amazingly productive KDE fanatic. He threw together the KDE interface to SOCR in a couple of hours for us, and continues to extend it.
Len developed the Epicurus machine learning library. Epicurus is a GPL’d library for adding machine learning technology into applications. SOCR uses Epicurus as the base for the recognition technology.
Marco is using SOCR for reading text from video images. This sounds like a great project.
Michael is keen to help…perhaps he’ll write a GTK user interface. Fingers crossed!
